Seal Tape PTFE Thread Seal Tape TOMBO 1/2 in x 30 in

PTFE, or Polytetrafluoroethylene, is generally known to the public by the brand name Teflon® (DuPont™) and is quite commonly referred to as plumber's tape. PTFE is compatible with a wide range of materials due to a low coefficient of friction and being very non-reactive.

PTFE Thread Seal Tape is widely used for general water plumbing applications because of its consistent quality. It’s also simple to use:

1. Place the end of TOMBO® PTFE Thread Seal Tape on the pipe thread 1/8” (3mm) from the end of the pipe.
2. Wrap the tape around pipe, stretching slightly to pull the tape into the threads.
3. Create a slight overlap on the starting turn.
4. Cover all threads and pull hard to tear the tape.
5. Assemble the joint.
