Marathon SP623336 Vacuum Relief Valve

A vacuum valve must be installed on the cold water inlet in either a vertical or horizontal position to assure warranty coverage a Marathon water heater. Without a vacuum valve properly installed, certain conditions, such as a break in the main supply line, can create a vacuum within the water heater and irreparably damage the inner tank or cause your water heater to leak.

This replacement vacuum valve designed for use on all Marathon water heater models. and is designed to be installed in a brass T fitting. For a complete unit that includes the brass T fitting, please see the SP623335.
