Energy Savings

The LCG5 Smart Strip saves energy by “unplugging” devices when they aren’t in use. The power sent to the six automatically switched outlets is directly controlled by the state of the device in the control outlet. For example, you could plug in your computer to the control outlet, then all your peripheral devices (printer, scanner etc.) into the switched outlets. When you switch on your computer, your peripherals are switched on as well; in the same way, these devices would be turned off when your computer is shut down. This makes shutdown and startup of multiple devices fast, easy and complete.
